Belgian consular posts are entitled to charge consular fees for their consular services (issuance of identity cards, visas, certain acts, etc.).
These consular fees must be paid in Australian dollars.
The rates and exchange rates in force are regularly updated and displayed in the waiting rooms of the consulates.
Payment of consular services
The Embassy of Belgium in Canberra only accepts payments:
- by card (Visa/Mastercard)
- cash (at the counter)
- money order from Australia Post
The Embassy does NOT accept payments:
- by American Express
- by wire transfer
The Embassy does not accept files or documents for processing without a valid mode of payment.
